Join the North of the River Recreation Foundation for a community celebration that brings neighbors together for a great cause — supporting the Youth Scholarship Fund!

Every step you take helps local children and families access recreation programs, sports, and camps that build confidence, connection, and lifelong memories. Whether you’re running the 5K, walking the Fun Run, or cheering from the sidelines, this event is all about loving our parks, loving our hearts, and giving back to the parks that help our neighborhoods thrive. Participants will receive a finisher medal (while supplies last), and all proceeds support youth recreation scholarships.

Step into a magical holiday tradition! Join us for our award-winning 52nd Annual NOR Christmas Parade, celebrating this year’s theme: A Neighborhood Christmas. Give the gift of life this holiday season! Join us for our NOR Holiday Blood Drive in partnership with Houchin Community Blood Bank. Your donation helps support patients in need and makes a meaningful impact right here in our community.

For every successful blood donation, Houchin will contribute $15 to the North of the River Recreation Foundation, helping them continue their vital work toward the Youth Scholarship Fund. 

Successful donors 21+ will be entered into a drawing with the Foundation for a basket and gift certificate to Hard Rock Tejon!

Unable to attend on the 18th? You can donate at any Houchin location from December 1–19 — just mention NOR or North of the River at check-in.
