Monthly Restaurant Fundraisers
The North of the River Recreation Foundation proudly partners with local restaurants to host monthly fundraising events that bring our community together while supporting a great cause. These offer residents an easy and enjoyable way to give back - simply by eating at participating restaurants.
Each month, a different local restaurant donates a percentage of sales from a designated day or timeframe directly to the Foundation. Proceeds from these events help fund the Youth Scholarship Fund for youth across Bakersfield.

Panera Bread partners with the Foundation through its established "Fundraising Nights" program.
How It Works
The fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 4-8pm.
Stop by the Panera location and eat in cafe or go through the drive-thru. Show staff a digital or printed copy of the fundraising night flyer.
For ordering online or pick-up, use promo code FUND4U at online checkout directly through Panera. (This is not applicable through food delivery services.)

Panera Bread donates 25% of net sales to the Foundation from qualifying purchases made during the event window, as long as there are $150 in net sales.

Krispy Kreme partners with the Foundation through its established "Digital Dozens" program through GroupRaise.
How It Works
The fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4 through 11, 2026.
Visit the GroupRaise campaign page and puchase your donuts: a dozen for $15! Pick up your donuts at Krispy Kreme.

The fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, December 2 through 23, 2026.

Applebee's partners with the Foundation through its established "Doing Good in the Neighborhood" program.
How It Works
The fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, February 3, 2027 at 11am-10pm.
Stop by the Applebee's location and eat in restaurant.
Orders can be placed for pickup by calling Applebee's at 661.664.0974.
Mention the 'North of the River Recreation Foundation' to ensure the fundraiser is applied.
