Experience the convenience of the i9 Sports program with leagues for boys and girls available at multiple NOR facilities. At just one day per week, with practices held before games, all skill levels are welcome. There are no tryouts! League start times vary.

League of Dreams is an adaptive sports program giving every child a chance to play by providing sports training, team camaraderie, and competitive sporting opportunities to athletes ages 5 to 22 with physical, developmental, and cognitive disabilities. SuperTots focuses on game-based classes and enrichment programs for ages 18 months to 5, while Skyhawks provides a safe, fun, skill-based sports experience for kids between the ages 4 to 14. SuperTots/Skyhawks offers multi-sport programs developed to give children a positive first step into athletics. Sports are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun. Through exciting games and activities, young athletes explore balance, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. Throughout the year, thier sports programs are hosted at NOR facilities and fields.

ADULT CPR & AED HYBRID - KINS B2LNC
This course involves the theory and detailed demonstration of Adult CPR and AED needed to care for a victim in cardiac arrest. Adult CPR and Automated External Defibrillator Certification will be granted upon successful completion of the course.

NOR residents receive a 15% rebate for specific BC classes taking place at NOR facilities. This course is offered by Kern Community College District at locations provided by NOR.
In partnership with the Kern Athletic Fencing Foundation (KAFF), youth and adults can learn the basics of Foil Fencing in an introductory 4-week course. Classes are held at KAFF’s fencing studio located upstairs of the Bakersfield Woman’s Club, 2030 18th St. All equipment will be provided. Participants must wear athletic shoes, full-length sports pants, and bring a water bottle.
