North of the River Recreation and Park District requires Insurance and Additional Insured Endorsements to be received no later than 10 business days prior to the permit date.

Facets of the Certificate:

• Insurance provided must be primary and noncontributory.
• Blanket endorsements will not be accepted.
• Disclaimers conferring no rights upon the certificate holder will not be accepted.
• The policy's 'Cancellation Clause' must read as follows: "Should any of the above-described policies be cancelled before the expiration date thereof, the issuing company will amil 10 days' written notice to the certificate holder named to the left."
• The Certificate Holder should be listed as follows:
  North of the River Recreatioon and Park District
  3825 Riverlakes Drive
  Bakersfield, CA 93312

Rental Requirements:

• Certificate of General Liability Insurance
  • General Usage: in an amount not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence; $2,000,000 aggregate with no per person sub-limit.
  • Sports Activities: in an amount not less than $2,000,000 per occurrence; $4,000,000 aggregate with no per person sub-limit.
  • The facility user's insurance shall be primary and noncontributory as respects to any loss of liability arising directly or indirectly from the insured's operations. North of the River Recreation and Park District must be listed as the Certificate Holder.
• An entirely separate 'Endorsement' page naming 'North of the River Recreation and Park District' as additional insured. Listing additional insured in the description alone is not sufficient.
• An entierely separate 'Agreement/Endorsement of Waiver of Subrogation' page naming 'North of the River Recreation and Park District' is required for General Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation.
• Renters who have employees are required to carry Worker's Compensation for employee illness/injury.
• Renters who are providing formalized services to minors are required to carry Sexual Abuse or Molestation (SAM) Liability coverage with a limit no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence or claim.
