Net Zero Carbon Club
The Net Zero Carbon Club is a series of programs presented by California Resources Corporation and NOR that are designed to educate, activate, and engage the community through low-carbon recreation and sustainability-focused activities.
Through recreational experiences, the Club encourages residents to explore how everyday choices - like getting outdoors, staying active in local parks, and participating in community programs - can support environmental stewardship and lower-carbon living.
Whether you're learning a new skill, exploring nature, or enjoying a recreational activity close to home, every program is designed to help participants connect with the environment while building a healthier community.
By participating in select programs - sch as those offered through the NOR Rec Pass - you've already joined the Net Zero Carbon Club!
These programs highlight activities that:
- Encourage outdoor recreation and connection with nature
- Reduce the need for high-carbon activities
- Encourage pooled and shared resources to lower energy usage
- Support environmental awareness and stewardship
When you participate, you're helping demonstrate how recreation and sustainability can work together to build a healthier future.
Small actions add up. By choosing programs that encourage outdoor activity, local participation, and environmental awareness, the community can work together to:
- Reduce carbon emissions
- Support healthier lifestyles
- Protect natural resources
- Strengthen community connections
The Net Zero Carbon Club celebrates these efforts and recognizes participants who help move our community toward a sustainable future.
