Honor & Memorial Tree Program
Leave a Lasting Legacy in NOR Parks
Honor a loved one, celebrate a milestone, or commemorate a meaningful moment by dedicating a memorial or honor tree in a North of the River Recreation and Park District park.
Our parks are known for their shade trees and large tree canopies. By planting trees, we continue investing in our urban forest, providing shady spaces for families and friends, creating wildlife habitat, contributing to carbon sequestration, and helping reduce urban heat islands throughout metropolitan Bakersfield.
A memorial tree is a living tribute that will be enjoyed by the community for generations to come.
