California Senate Bill 827 requires local agencies with public websites to make available copies of ethics and fiscal/financial training records for covered District officials. 

• Ethics Training Records (AB 1234) - Required every two years for covered officials. Training must be completed within six months of assuming office (starting January 1, 2026).
• Fiscal and Financial Training Records (SB 827) - Officials serving on or after January 1, 2026 must complete their first training by January 1, 2028.
