🍗 Dine for a Cause at Raising Cane's

The North of the River Recreation Foundation proudly partners with local restaurants to host monthly fundraising events that bring our community together while supporting a great cause.

Beginning June, every first Wednesday of the month, we'll be partnering with a different local restaurant to give our community an easy and enjoyable way to support local youth—simply by dining at participating locations.

We're excited to kick off this new fundraiser series with Raising Cane's tomorrow!

Each month, a participating restaurant will donate a percentage of sales from a designated day or timeframe directly to the Foundation. Proceeds from these events help support the NOR Recreation Foundation's Youth Scholarship Fund, These scholarships help ensure reduced registration fees for local youth  throughout Bakersfield so they can participate in recreation programs, camps, sports, and enrichment opportunities.

Why Your Support Matters

For many families, the cost of youth programs can be a barrier. Through scholarship assistance, children can experience the benefits of recreation, develop new skills, build friendships, and create lasting memories.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 during the 2026-27 program year to help even more youth access life-changing recreational opportunities.

• Orders must be placed directly through the Raising Cane's app or website. Food delivery orders do not qualify.
