AGES 50+ AARP Smart Driver course is specifically designed for drivers 50 and older. Contact your insurance agent to verify if you would receive the driver discount for completing the course. Refresh your driving skills and your knowledge of the rules and hazards of the road. Taking the course can prevent accidents or getting a ticket, by making participants aware of their driving habits. After completing the 8-hour (original course) or the 4-hour (refresher course), you will receive a certificate of completion. You would then notify your insurance agent to receive a discount on your car insurance. In order to take the 4-hour refresher course, you must have completed the 8-hour course. The cost of the course is $20 for AARP and $25 for wnon-members. The certificate is good for three years. Register directly at 331-2229
