Water Safety Instructor Certification Class
American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Course will train instructor candidates to teach courses and presentations in the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program by developing their understanding of how to use the course materials, how to conduct training sessions and how to evaluate participants’ progress. Students must be at least 16 years old on or before the final scheduled lesson of this course; complete the Fundamental of Instructor Training courts and demonstrate and perform the following swimming skills:

• Swim the following strokes consistent with the Stoke Performance Charts of Level 14: 25 yards of Front Crawl, Back Crawl, Breaststroke, Elementary Backstroke, Sidestroke, and 15 yards of Butterfly.
• Maintain position on back for 1 minute in deep water floating or sculling.
• Tread water for 1 minute.

Session 2: June 7-June 12
Monday – Friday 2:00pm-8:00pm
Saturday 10:00am-4:00pm

Cost: $95/$85 non resident fee
