Current Construction Projects at NOR

Rasmussen Senior Center Improvements
Rasmussen Senior Center is located at 115 East Roberts Lane, approximately one block east of North Chester at the intersection of Roberts Lane and Hart Street. NOR is in the process of designing improvements to the Rasmussen Senior Center kitchen. The equipment bid has been awarded. Actual improvements will be funded through a Kern County Community Development Block Grant.

Riverview Park Improvements
It is anticipated that construction will begin in June to upgrade all the playgrounds, replace the restrooms, put in additional parking and an entrance into the park and reroute the maintenance drive and landscape the unimproved portions of the site.
