Rasmussen Senior Center and Greenacres Community Center both offer a variety of activities for adults ages 50 and over. Rasmussen and Greenacres feature live music and dancing as a part of their regular programs. Musical performers include Bakersfield Country Band, Clyde Edwards, Lost Chords, Pals and Red Simpson. Nutrition Sites
Rasmussen and Greenacres provide lunches Monday through Friday. Meals are prepared in accordance with federal dietary guidelines for senior nutrition needs.

There is a suggested donation of $1.50 per meal for seniors over 60; persons under 60 are charged $4.50 for their meal. Reservations must be made by 1:00 p.m. the day before.
