The Youth Summer Ball Program, sponsored by North of the River Recreation and Park District, is based on principles that fulfill three goals designed to develop high ideals of health, citizenship and character that will last a lifetime:
- Instill a sense of sportsmanship, fair play, and team spirit.
- Acquaint players with the fundamental rules of baseball; and,
- Promote safety awareness in athletics.
Register at either the District Office, 405 Galaxy Avenue; Greenacres Community Center, 2014 Calloway Drive; or Riverview Community Center, 401 Willow Drive; between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday.
Includes new uniform top, pants, socks, cap and team/individual pictures.
All first year Coed Tee-Ball players must provide a copy of their proof of birth date. Age is as of August 1, 2012 No Exceptions!
LATE REGISTRATION FEE:
After March 10 add $10 for Summer Ball; $5 for Coed Tee-Ball.
Practices: Summer Ball practices begin the week of May 7. Games begin the week of June 4 and end July 20. Games are played Monday through Friday.
Coed Tee-Ball
Practices begin the week of May 7. League begins the week of June 4 and ends July 20. Games are played Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.
